Industry 5.0, Digital and Artificial Intelligence
We have brought our production into the Industry 5.0 era, where digitalization enhances people's know-how. Our MES module connects design, machines and the shop floor into a single data flow, tracking every phase and optimizing machining times.
Simulation and data-driven analysis tools help us predict die behaviour and optimize process parameters before we even cut the steel, reducing trials, scrap and start-up times. The reprogramming of machine tools eliminates human error in critical operations, ensuring repeatability and consistent quality.
Craftsmanship and Quality Control
Ascom's true added value remains craftsmanship. Fitting (aggiustaggio) — the manual fine-tuning of dies — is an art that combines experience, sensitivity and precision, impossible to fully automate. This is where digitalization and the human hand meet.
Every die is validated with rigorous dimensional control and a complete sampling service: we produce trial lots and verify their conformity in collaboration with partner foundries, supporting the customer through to approval of the first conforming casting.
